About Mario
Mario Aguirre currently is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the implementation and logistics of all FCCA membership programs & events, including aspects of the FCCA Cruise Conference & Trade Show. One of his main objectives is to develop a stronger working relationship with the FCCA Platinum members to help them reach their industry goals.
Prior to joining the FCCA, Mario spent 17 years overseeing promotional efforts for the Tourism Board of Honduras as their North American Director. He was part of the tourism board’s team responsible for strategic planning in relation to the country’s cruise industry and had been the Platinum Delegate for Honduras since 2004. He has also led other efforts for the Tourism Board in regards to airlift, trade events, advertising and all public relations related to promoting travel to the country.
As a prior Platinum Delegate representing the Honduras Tourism Board, he has seen firsthand the growth of the industry and participated in numerous FCCA functions & events. Mario was born in Honduras and resides in the city of Miami with his wife, Michelle, and daughters Sofia & Mia.
